About GTRA

The German-Thai Railway Association was established to realize the motivation of the Joint Declaration of Intent (JDI) signed by the Thai Ministry of Transport and the German Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure in 2016 to strengthen the collaboration on railway development, continuing the work of the GTRP working groups coordinated by the Ministry and the German Embassy during the years of 2017 and 2018.

GTRA is a community of members from industry, operators, consultants and service providers, educators and students. We collaborate to create benefits for all stakeholders of railway transportation, including first and foremost, the people of Thailand.
