Mr. Thilo Weigel, who holds a Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University, has more then 20 years of experience in railway business in different senior positions. As Director of Marketing & Sales at LogoMotive GmbH in Germany, he is primarily in Charge of International Business in South and South-East-Asia.
LogoMotive is an independent, knowledge-based systems house, offering complete solutions from a single source, covering all development phases: planning, conception, development, design, testing, acceptance testing, and certification.
Clients include vehicle manufacturers, vehicle operators, and regulatory authorities.
LogoMotive has a team of experts in design, structural mechanics (strength), dynamics (handling, vibrations), acoustics, and testing and certification to support these activities.

This seminar aims to introduce the funding possibility for research, development and technology localization for Thai railway industry by Program Management Unit for Competitiveness (PMUC). This funding program can support collaborations between multi-partners for developing Thai railway industry in different forms, for example, subsystem or parts development, technology localization, software development etc. Two projects funded by PMUC will be presented as successful examples motivating the development of future projects by German-Thai partnership. Then, the regulations and guidelines of the funding program will be introduced by the committee members of the Future Mobility, Robotics and Automation Program Board (PMUC).
